Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention & Control Policy

PLEASE READ THROUGH THIS POLICY BEFORE AN APPOINTMENT WITH ME

My priority is to keep my clients and myself as safe as possible. All these procedures have been implemented for your safety and mine. I will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend this policy as necessary.

APPOINTMENTS

If you, or any of the people you live with, feel ill or display any symptoms of Covid-19 – please advise me as soon as possible and
DO NOT COME TO THE SALON FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.

If I feel ill or have symptoms of Covid-19, or if any of my household have symptoms, I will self-isolate immediately and not come into the salon. This will mean I have to cancel your appointment, and this might be at short notice.

VISITING THE SALON

In accordance with any current Government advice, please wear a mask to the salon, unless exempt. You will be within 2 metres of your therapist for the duration of your treatment, so you need to protect them by wearing a face covering and your therapist will protect you by wearing a mask throughout the appointment. You can purchase a mask from me for £1 if you do not have one. You will be asked some Covid Questions each time I ask you to confirm your appointment – usually 2 days prior by text message.
I provide antibacterial hand gel for sanitising your hands and there are hand washing facilities at the salon.

All tools, equipment, couch, chair and bottles will be disinfected or sterilised inbetween every appointment. I always use fresh tissue, fresh towels and fresh gloves for every client. I also never double dip my spatulas into the wax/sugar pots. Every client has a new bin liner, and all waste is disposed of carefully. The laundering of salon towels and uniforms is a priority, and I can assure you that all salon laundry is washed at 60 degrees C.

TREATMENTS

I have carried out a risk assessment on all treatments and I am confident that I can continue to provide all of these safely. This is subject to change and I will advise of any changes when booking. I will try to make your treatment as safe and comfortable as possible. If you have any concerns about your treatments, please let me know and I will do what I can to help you.

AFTER THE TREATMENT

I would prefer if you paid for your treatment by bank transfer – please ask me for the account details. Please use your surname as a reference when doing a transfer payment. You can still pay by cash if you prefer – but please try to bring the correct amount as I will only have minimal change.

If you have any questions or issues, please contact me.
